Losing an Identity
Some things are easier to lose than others, especially when trying to "save face". Louis Fisher Photography (C). |
Losing a Style
For better or worse, this loss of hair may come to some as an "upgrade". Louis Fisher Photography (C). |
Losing a Year
Turning another year older, sweet yet sour. Friends stay close to ease its passing. Louis Fisher Photography (C). |
"Defining Loss"
Loss is universal. It is the gift and the plague of the living. All people, at some point in their lives, experience loss. Whether it is losing a loved one, losing an opportunity, losing faith, losing a fear, or even the loss of virginity, everyone experiences it. Individually or in groups, loss is unique as the people who encounter it. Each person responds to it differently. This is my visual cataloging of human loss and how people react, cope, and live with it everyday.
